Koei Tecmo opens pre-orders for Dynasty Warriors 3 on Nintendo Switch 2

Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have opened pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of ‘Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered’. The title is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026.

This remastered edition combines the original game with its ‘Xtreme Legends’ expansion. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game features updated graphics and modernized controls, including new mechanics such as ‘dodge’ and ‘just power guard’. The roster includes over 40 officers from the Three Kingdoms era, with the addition of the character Shiran from ‘Dynasty Warriors Origins’.

Players can choose between a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes bonus content such as 42 weapons, secret teachings, and retro-style costumes. Pre-orders placed by September 30, 2026, are eligible for an exclusive ‘Retro-Style Red Hare Saddle’ bonus.
