Koei Tecmo releases Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered

Koei Tecmo has released Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, a reconstruction of the 2001 PlayStation 2 title and its Xtreme Legends expansion using Unreal Engine 5. The remaster is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Series producer Tomohiko Sho stated in an interview with 4Gamer that while the commercial success of this release could lead to remasters of subsequent titles, he personally prefers focusing on new games or sequels. Sho, who has been with Koei since the 1990s, expressed a desire to dedicate the remainder of his career to original projects rather than remaking his own previous work.
