Koei Tecmo releases Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered

Koei Tecmo has released Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, a modernized version of the original title and its Xtreme Legends expansion. Developed by Omega Force, the remaster utilizes Unreal Engine 5 to enhance visual fidelity, featuring detailed environments such as dense jungles and snowy landscapes.

The release includes over forty playable officers, including the character Ziluan from Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Gameplay improvements feature updated mechanics such as dodging, perfect dodges, perfect guards, and weapon fusion. The package combines the base campaign with additional narrative scenarios from the expansion.

Available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the game supports local two-player co-op. Koei Tecmo has indicated that online co-op for two players will be added later through a free update. A demo featuring the Hulao Gate scenario is also available.
