Koei Tecmo releases free demo for Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered

Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced a free demo for ‘DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered’, which is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026. The demo is currently available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The remastered edition combines the original third installment with the ‘Xtreme Legends’ expansion, utilizing Unreal Engine 5 to recreate battlefields and character models. The demo features a reworked ‘Battle of Hulao Gate (Allied Forces)’ scenario, allowing players to control officers such as Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, and Sun Shangxiang in a conflict between the forces of Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo.

Following the initial launch, Koei Tecmo plans to introduce an online two-player cooperative mode, a feature previously requested by fans and highlighted during the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
