KOL Summit 2026 to address digital trust and AI misinformation

The second National KOL Summit, known as KOL Summit 2026, is scheduled to take place on September 7 at the Thiskyhall Sala Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Under the theme “KOLs on the journey to creating digital trust,” the event aims to address the evolving role of influencers within the digital ecosystem, particularly as artificial intelligence impacts content creation and dissemination.

The summit is expected to gather approximately 1,000 delegates, including over 500 celebrities, KOLs, KOCs, and content creators from 34 provinces, alongside 100 organizations and enterprises. Organized by the Digital Trust Alliance in collaboration with VCCorp, the National Cybersecurity Association, and supported by the Ministry of Public Security’s Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), the event will introduce a set of standards and a credibility program specifically for the KOL/KOC community.

The conference will feature parallel thematic sessions. One session, titled “AI, Misinformation, and the Crisis of Trust,” will focus on the challenges posed by deepfakes and the rapid spread of AI-generated fake news. A second session, “Digital Influence and the Future of Creativity,” will explore shifts in the digital landscape and the future of creative industries.
