Konami adds Panic Bomber W to Super Bomberman Collection

Konami Digital Entertainment has released a free update for the ‘Super Bomberman Collection’, adding the classic 1995 puzzle game ‘Panic Bomber W’. Originally released in Japan for the Super Famicom by Hudson Soft, this title is now available with an English translation for menus.

‘Panic Bomber W’ is a competitive puzzle game that differs from traditional Bomberman action titles by focusing on chain reactions, bomb attacks, and strategic use of the ‘Big Bomb’. The update is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

In addition to the new game, the update incorporates the original soundtrack from ‘Panic Bomber W’ into the collection’s ‘BOMB Radio’ feature. The ‘Super Bomberman Collection’ currently features eight titles, including the original Bomberman I and II and five entries from the Super Bomberman series released between 1993 and 1997.
