Konami Super Bomberman Collection update

Overview

Konami Digital Entertainment released a free update for the ‘Super Bomberman Collection’ that adds the 1995 classic puzzle game ‘Panic Bomber W’. Originally a Super Famicom title developed by Hudson Soft in Japan, the game now includes an English translation for menus.

‘Panic Bomber W’ is a competitive puzzle game for one to four players that emphasizes chain reactions and the strategic use of the ‘Big Bomb’. The update also introduces ‘Dokuro mode’, which features unique explosion effects that can modify the game field or bomb properties. Additionally, the collection’s ‘BOMB Radio’ feature has been updated to include the original ‘Panic Bomber W’ soundtrack.

The ‘Super Bomberman Collection’ is a historical compilation containing eight titles, including the original Bomberman and Bomberman II, and five Super Bomberman entries released between 1993 and 1997. The collection is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
