Konya announces winners of European Capital of Cycling photo contest

Konya photography competition European Capital of Cycling bicycle culture Konya Metropolitan Municipality

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality has announced the winners of its photography competition themed ‘2026 European Capital of Cycling Konya’. The event aimed to promote bicycle culture, infrastructure, and sports within the city through the lens of photography.

Muhammed Furkan Yardımcı won first place, receiving 30,000 TL. Yusuf Yalın took second place with 25,000 TL, and Emine Turan earned third place with 20,000 TL. Honorable mentions were awarded to Şeyma Nur Çalışkan, Rana Büyükaltunel, and Cihan Savran.

In addition to the top prizes, 36 works received exhibition awards, and 20 works were selected for purchase to be added to the city’s artistic archive.
