Konya Bicycle Festival concludes with high participation

The Konya Bicycle Festival, organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, has concluded after four days of activities. The event was held in preparation for Konya’s designation as the 2026 European Cycling Capital.

Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay reported that the festival saw participation from over 100,000 people, including children, youth, and cycling enthusiasts. Held at the Kalehan Ecdat Garden, the festival aimed to promote cycling culture and introduce the city to visitors from both within Konya and from outside the region.

Altay expressed satisfaction with the high level of interest and noted that the city plans to continue its series of events with upcoming Science and GastroFest celebrations.
