Korea Handball H-League new season to debut December 6

The Korea Handball Federation has announced that the Shinhan Super SOL 2026-2027 Handball H-League will run for six months, from December 6, 2026, to May 9, 2027, across eight regions in South Korea.

The men's division will begin on December 6 at the Incheon Seonhak Gymnasium, featuring a match between defending champions Incheon City Corporation and runners-up SK Hawks. The women's division will start later, on January 8, due to the Asian Championships held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The women's opening match will feature SK Sugar Gliders against Samcheok City Hall.

With the addition of Chungnam Development Corporation, the women's division has expanded to nine teams. To enhance competitiveness, the league will implement a split system after two rounds: teams ranked 1st to 4th will enter the upper split, while teams ranked 5th to 9th will enter the lower split. The top team from the lower split will earn a spot in the post-season 준플레이오프 (semi-playoffs).
