Korean Film Festival to premiere ‘Zona Zero’ in São Paulo

The fourth edition of the Korean Film Festival (KOFF) will open in São Paulo on October 1 at Reserva Cultural. The opening night features a special premiere of ‘Zona Zero’ (Colony), the new project from director Yeon Sang-ho, known for ‘Train to Busan’.

Set during a biotechnology conference, ‘Zona Zero’ follows a group of survivors fighting to stay alive after a dangerous, mutating virus escapes control. The film stars Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Jun Ji-hyun, Go Soo, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Shin-rok, and Kim Jong-tae.

In addition to the premiere, the opening night includes a screening of ‘The King’s Warden’. The full festival program in São Paulo consists of 18 feature films and 59 short films, spanning both competitive and non-competitive showcases.
