Kosovo Assembly to hold session on KLA legal cases and banking appointments

The Kosovo Assembly is scheduled to hold a plenary session this Thursday to address several key legislative items. Among the agenda points is the selection of two members for the Board of the Central Bank of Kosovo and the formation of the commission for the Board of Radio Televizioni i Kosovës (RTK).

In coordination with other parliamentary groups, the session will also include the second reading of a bill to amend and supplement the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and the Combating of Terrorist Financing.

Additionally, the session will touch upon the legal proceedings regarding four former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and the subsequent appeals phase. Arbërie Nagavci, head of the Vetëvendosje parliamentary group, noted that while the movement has expressed reservations regarding the handling of the KLA case through specific legislation, they have supported deputies who believe the current legislative path is appropriate.
