Kosovo faces heatwave with temperatures up to 37°C

Kosovo is experiencing a period of intense heat, with temperatures expected to reach between 34°C and 37°C during the early part of the week. The weather is forecast to remain predominantly sunny and hot.

According to the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute, maximum temperatures are expected to stay around 36°C for several consecutive days. While the heat persists through Wednesday, a weather shift is anticipated by Thursday, which may bring convective clouds, local rain showers, thunderstorms, and isolated storms. During these storms, there may be temporary increases in wind speed and changes in wind direction.
