Kosovo police seize hundreds of rounds and military gear in Zubin Potok

The Kosovo Police reported the discovery of large caches of weapons, ammunition and military equipment in three uninhabited houses in the northern municipality of Zubin Potok. In the first house 432 7.62 mm rounds and 18 rounds of an unknown calibre were confiscated. The second house yielded 204 rounds of various calibres, 56 cartridge cases, a bayonet, a military‑style mask and three food‑supply devices. The third house contained an air‑gun, 31 rounds and a bundle of old Yugoslavian cash. Prosecutors have been notified and investigations are underway.

The police also noted other unrelated incidents during the same period, including a drunk‑driving crash involving a police vehicle and several unrelated finds of hunting ammunition at the Pristina airport, but those matters are separate from the Zubin Potok seizure.
