Kosovo Police Special Units certify 18 operators in emergency medicine
Eighteen operators from the Special Units of the Kosovo Police have been certified following the successful completion of a one-year training program titled ‘Advancement of basic knowledge in emergency medicine’. The training was conducted in collaboration with the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (ShSKUK).
The program aimed to equip police operators with practical skills and knowledge to provide first aid and respond effectively to various health emergencies in the field. This initiative is intended to increase operational readiness and enhance the protection of both citizens and police personnel.
During the certification ceremony held at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, representatives from both the police and the medical center emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation for professional development. Colonels Taibe Canolli and Mentor Shabani expressed gratitude to ShSKUK, specifically the Emergency Clinic, for their professional support. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to future joint training activities to continue raising professional capacities.
