Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti meets with Islamic Community leader

Myftiu Naim Tërnava, Chairman of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Pristina to discuss the role of religious communities in strengthening social values and promoting interfaith tolerance.

During the meeting, which included Justice Minister Albulena Haxhiu and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Hajrulla Çeku, discussions focused on institutional cooperation for community projects. Tërnava specifically highlighted the preservation of cultural, historical, and religious heritage, expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Culture for the renovation of several mosques and noting readiness to renovate fifteen additional historic mosques.

Prime Minister Kurti acknowledged the Islamic Community of Kosovo’s contribution to maintaining religious and national harmony, reaffirming the government's commitment to supporting all religious communities to build an inclusive society.
