Kosovo schedules mass power outages and clean‑energy grant deadline for July

The Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS) announced scheduled power interruptions for July 26‑28, 2026. The outages will affect several municipalities, including Pristina, Peja, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Gjilan and Mitrovica, and will impact residential neighborhoods, commercial premises, industrial zones and major roadways as part of preventive maintenance, network work and third‑party projects.

On July 23, the Kosovo Agency for Investment and Business Support (KIESA), together with the Ministry of Economy and Luxembourg’s development agency LuxDev, held an information session on the second phase of the Clean Energy Grants Scheme. The program offers financial support to businesses that invest in energy‑efficiency and renewable projects. Applications are accepted through the eKosova platform until July 27, 2026, and the scheme is financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
