Kosovo seizes five cars after falsified Korean import documents uncovered

Prosecutors in Mitrovica, working with Kosovo Customs and the Kosovo Police, carried out a raid at the suspects' residence in Vushtrri. The operation resulted in the seizure of five vehicles whose Korean registration papers had been falsified.

According to the investigation, the falsified documents altered the first registration year from 2015 to 2016, making the cars appear younger than ten years and thereby eligible for import under law 05/L‑132, article 44 (2). The suspects are charged with document falsification under the criminal code (article 390 para 2 and related provisions). The authorities say the probe will continue to collect further evidence.
