Kosovo's KEDS schedules limited power outages for network maintenance

The Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS) will carry out scheduled network work tomorrow, resulting in temporary, limited power interruptions across several municipalities.

In Pristina, 20 kV lines on streets such as Gazmend Zajmi, Mitrovica, Anton Qeta, Rexhep Mala and Tringë Smajli will be shut off from 10:00 to 14:00 for SCADA system testing, while a 10 kV line serving Bardhosh, Siçevë, Bërnica, Trudë and Sharban will also be offline during the same period. In Prizren, a 10 kV line near Gjinovci will be disconnected from 10:30 to 15:00 to install a new conductor, and in Ferizaj the industrial zone’s 10 kV line will be out of service from 09:00 to 18:00. The work is part of system safety measures and aerial network removal mandated by the Energy Regulatory Authority.
