Kostas Tsourous ends contract with Greek channel SKAI
Greek television presenter Kostas Tsourous and the private broadcaster SKAI have mutually ended their collaboration after a series of meetings failed to produce a “golden middle” for continuing the partnership. Both sides said the agreement could not be extended and that Tsourous will be free to pursue new opportunities.
SKAI confirmed that the midday programming slot will be taken over by Nancy Zampetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos, while the former show “To choume” had already been cut short earlier in the season. Tsourous was quoted as saying he “didn’t want to sit and get paid without having work to do.” The split comes amid a period of restructuring in the Greek TV market.
