Kosy Group explains five-day consecutive stock price decline

Kosy Group (MCK: KOS) has issued an official explanation regarding its stock hitting the floor price for five consecutive trading sessions from September 21 to September 25, 2026. Chairman Nguyen Viet Cuong signed the report submitted to the State Securities Commission and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.

The company attributed the decline to broader market trends, reduced market liquidity, and difficulties in accessing capital for business operations. Additionally, several securities companies reduced margin lending ratios for KOS shares, which increased selling pressure.

Kosy Group stated that its core business activities, including real estate development and renewable energy projects, are proceeding according to plan without internal disruptions affecting the stock price. Financially, the company reported a 120% increase in after-tax profit for the first half of 2026, reaching nearly 15.4 billion VND, though this represents only 12.8% of its annual profit target.
