Kotor prepares for 24th International Summer Carnival

Kotor will host the 24th International Summer Carnival from July 30 to August 1, 2026. The opening ceremony on July 30 at 21:00 on the town square will feature Klapa Kumpanji from Korčula and DJ Mandozice. The following night, a large mask ball titled "Najmaskaraniji grade" will showcase the Italian group Terraross. The main event on August 1 includes a city‑wide parade of carnival groups and guests from the region and abroad, followed by performances by Ansambl TOĆ and Cubalcanica.

To accommodate the parade, the main city traffic artery will be closed on Saturday night from 21:00 until the procession passes. Organisers ask residents and visitors to plan travel accordingly and to respect the temporary traffic regulations.
