KOWR auctions 120 historic properties across Poland

The National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) has announced the sale of 120 historic properties across Poland for 2025. These listings include various landmarks, such as a palace in Gniezno built in the early 20th century, a neoclassical palace in Szymanów situated on nearly 4 hectares, and a manor in Modzele dating from 1937.

Approximately 3,700 historic objects under conservation protection are currently held within the State Treasury's Agricultural Property Resource. This includes about 1,000 properties officially entered into the register of monuments. KOWR manages these assets through sales, leases for commercial use like hotels and restaurants, or by transferring them to local governments.

Interested buyers, including individuals and legal entities, can participate in auctions provided they meet formal requirements and coordinate with conservation authorities. The highest concentration of registered monuments is located in the Lower Silesian, Warmian-Masurian, Greater Poland, and West Pomeranian voivodeships.
