Kozani launches public consultation for EcoZani urban project

The Municipality of Kozani has launched a public consultation process for the EcoZani project, focusing on ten small-scale urban acupuncture proposals. These interventions aim to upgrade public spaces, including squares, neighborhoods, cultural sites, and meeting points.

The proposals are designed around the project’s ‘3Z’ philosophy: Zero Waste, Zero Emissions, and Zero Exclusion. Key objectives include enhancing urban greenery, highlighting cultural heritage, improving accessibility, and promoting social interaction through the reuse of materials and climate-friendly solutions.

Citizens are invited to review the proposals, rate up to five of them on a scale of one to five stars, and submit comments. The feedback collected will be used in the final evaluation and maturation of the interventions. The consultation period is open until September 21, 2026.
