Kozani to host inaugural EcoZani Festival in October 2026

The inaugural EcoZani Festival is scheduled to take place on October 16–17, 2026, in Kozani, Greece. Held at the DİPEΘE Kozani Art Hall, the two-day musical event is dedicated to both contemporary and traditional improvisation.

Organized as part of the European EcoZani project in collaboration with the Municipality of Kozani, the festival aims to establish a new cultural institution for Western Macedonia. The program features musicians from Greece, Albania, Poland, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, blending modern, free, and world jazz with traditional musical elements.

Key performances include the Apopsis Trio featuring Eljona (Eleni Sinjari) and a live presentation of ‘The Greek Jazz Book Concert @Kozani,’ an initiative by the Jazz Solidarity Network. Other scheduled acts include Light Star Guiding and the Vangelis Vrachnos Quartet.
