Krabi tourist boat capsizes, 10 Indian tourists rescued
A longtail tourist boat carrying 12 people capsized and partially sank near Laem Hang Nak in Krabi, Thailand, on Saturday morning. The vessel was traveling from Ao Nang to Koh Hong when the incident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m.
The passengers included ten Indian tourists, a tour guide, and the boat captain. Nearby speedboats responded to the emergency and successfully rescued everyone on board. Seven individuals sustained injuries: six with minor wounds and one with a fractured arm.
All injured persons were transported to Klong Muang Beach for medical assessment and treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, focusing on the condition of the vessel and the specific circumstances leading to the capsize.
