KRAFTON to release BGMI 4.6 update in India on September 16

KRAFTON India has confirmed that the 4.6 update for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) will launch on September 16, 2026. The update features a supernatural-themed game mode titled ‘Midnight Hunters,’ which will run through November 16, 2026.

This update introduces significant changes to the Erangel map, including redesigned Points of Interest such as Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry, and Gatka to fit the vampire theme. New gameplay mechanics include asymmetric transformations, allowing players to adopt specialized abilities, and the introduction of PvE threats like Bloodwalkers, Nightbats, and the Vampire Elder boss.

Additionally, the ‘Ocean Odyssey’ underwater mode is scheduled to return to Erangel on September 30, running concurrently with the Midnight Hunters event. The patch also includes tactical items like the Silvermoon Chain and Twilight Bat Wings, alongside various weapon changes and updates to Classic and Ranked modes.
