Polish towns launch summer swimming pools and water venues

Several Polish towns and cities opened or are set to open summer swimming facilities at the end of June 2026. Boguchwała inaugurated a new 20 × 8 m pool; the Wawrzkowizna recreation area near Bełchatów began a seasonal swimming season with three free bus routes for residents; Opole’s “Błękitna Fala” complex opened with multiple pools, slides and a chill zone; H2Ostróg water zone started operations with over 1 300 m² of attractions; Kutno’s municipal pool opened free of charge; Kraków’s Przylasek Rusiecki bathing area reopened under guard; Kamienica Polska’s renovated pool resumed service; the Rawka basin in Ostrowiec offered a promotional 1‑zł ticket weekend; Poznań’s Chwiałka summer pool opened with extended hours and a reduced‑price ticket scheme; Kraków’s Zakrzówek swimming area reopened after a safety inspection with limited capacity; and Zduńska Wola’s municipal swimming complex began its season with standard pricing and a brief technical shutdown in July.

Most venues operate from late June through August, with opening hours typically from 10:00 or 09:00 until 20:00 or 19:00. Ticket prices vary: free entry in some towns, full‑day passes from 17 zł to 30 zł, reduced rates for seniors, families, or holders of local resident cards, and special discounts for early‑morning or late‑evening sessions. Many sites also provide additional amenities such as water slides, playgrounds, gastronomic kiosks, beach‑style lounges, and, in a few cases, free public transport to facilitate attendance.
