Krakow Sports Infrastructure Board contracts with MAIS GROUP face audit and legal service deal

The Zarząd Infrastruktury Sportowej (ZIS) in Krakow signed contracts with MAIS GROUP for strategic communication, public‑relations, reputation management and crisis‑support services. The first agreement ran from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025 and was valued at 103,320 zł, with a similar contract concluded for 2026.

Separately, on 20 November 2025 ZIS entered a one‑year legal‑services agreement with the Warsaw law firm Czechowska i Partnerzy, also worth 103,320 zł, providing up to 20 hours of remote legal advice per month.

On 28 July 2026 the Krakow city office, acting under interim mayor Stanisław Kracik, completed an audit of the ZIS‑MAIS GROUP contracts. The review raised concerns about the justification for purchasing the external services, the procurement procedure, lack of clear selection criteria, and whether the tasks exceeded the capacities of ZIS’s internal communication department. The auditors also questioned the deviation from standard competitive tendering and the documentation of work acceptance.
