Infrastructure and traffic updates across major Polish cities

Various Polish cities are implementing significant changes to urban infrastructure, traffic regulations, and public services.

In Kraków, the Paid Parking Zone (OPP) has been expanded to include new sectors near Ronda Matecznego, Podgórski Cemetery, and the Błonia area. These changes, aimed at improving parking availability, introduce new fees for drivers, though residents with a Krakow Card receive discounted rates. Additionally, roadwork on the 29 Listopada Avenue viaduct will cause lane reductions through late August, and public transport schedules will adjust for upcoming holidays on August 15.

Warsaw is preparing for two consecutive days of retail closures on August 15 and 16 due to statutory holidays, and the city will expand its unpaid parking zone in the Wola and Praga districts starting in September. Road maintenance is also underway in Warsaw's Żoliborz district and on Klecińska Street in Wrocław, the latter involving night-time repairs to bus bays and the roadway.

Other regional updates include the opening of new rest areas (MOP) on the S19 expressway, the completion of tram track repairs at Rondo Fordońskie in Bydgoszcz, and police enforcement of Kiss & Ride zone regulations in Zakopane to prevent illegal parking by taxi services.
