Kraków mayoral election campaign officially begins

The mayoral election campaign in Kraków has officially entered its legal phase, with several candidates registering their electoral committees.

Łukasz Gibała has registered his committee, choosing to hold a presentation at the Main Market Square in Kraków rather than conducting a large-scale media briefing prior to registration.

Michał Drewnicki, representing Law and Justice (PiS), delayed his committee registration but has maintained an active media presence. His campaign faces potential challenges due to internal shifts within his parent political formation.

Monika Piątkowska has also registered her committee, named "Ponad podziałami" (Above Divisions), which avoids explicitly highlighting the names of her supporting parties, Civic Coalition and the Polish People's Party.
