Kraków mayoral election: 24 committees registered

The registration period for electoral committees in the extraordinary mayoral elections in Kraków has concluded. The election, scheduled for September 27, 2026, follows a referendum that removed Aleksander Miszalski from office.

A total of 24 committees have been notified to the electoral commissioner, including 10 political parties, one organization, and 13 voter committees. Notable candidates include Marianna Schreiber, a former freak fighter, who officially registered her committee on the final deadline. Other listed candidates include Michał Drewnicki (PiS), Daria Gosek-Popiołek (Lewica), and Łukasz Gibała.

To officially appear on the ballot, these committees must collect at least 3,000 signatures and register their specific candidates by September 3.
