Kramatorsk faces intensified Russian drone and glide bomb attacks

Kramatorsk, located in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, is facing intensified Russian attacks. The city has seen a significant increase in air raid sirens and structural damage, primarily caused by dozens of glide bombs striking the area daily. Much of the city is now covered in anti-drone netting, and many local businesses and restaurants have closed.

Since the spring, Russian FPV attack drones have been operating over the city during both day and night. Despite the increased danger, the city remains a regimental hub with a diverse civilian population, including families and young people, who have adapted to living with the conflict for four and a half years.

Volunteers from the Swedish organization Quartermaster for Ukraine, including Tilde Addenbrooke and Ben Duncan, continue to operate in the region. The organization provides equipment, medical training, and other assistance to various Ukrainian military units.
