Krapina-Zagorje County and Split museums announce programs for children and culture
Krapina-Zagorje County has announced a diverse program for Children's Week, aimed at promoting children's rights and active community participation. Deputy Prefect Jasna Petek noted that the county has held the status of 'County-friend of children' since 2018. For the 2026 budget, 68% of the total funds, amounting to 94 million euros out of 138 million, are allocated to meeting the needs and rights of children, focusing primarily on education and healthcare.
In Split, the Archaeological Museum is hosting the 'Mediterranean Books' program. The event features two distinct focuses: children's museum publications for education and research on October 5, and the presentation of recent professional and scientific publications on October 7. The initiative aims to use museum publications as tools for creativity and cultural heritage engagement, featuring works such as 'Moja Meduza' and 'Salonitanski krajolik'.
