Kristijan Aleksić sentenced to 40 years for Drniš murder

Kristijan Aleksić has been sentenced to 40 years in prison by the County Court in Šibenik for the premeditated murder of 19-year-old food delivery driver and high school graduate Luka Milovac. The killing occurred in May in Drniš.

Aleksić admitted guilt, stating he intended to commit a serious crime to end his financial difficulties and debts. During the trial, it was revealed that he used an improvised firearm constructed from internet instructions and carried a 30-centimeter military knife as a backup. He had previously ordered food multiple times to avoid suspicion from delivery drivers.

In court, Aleksić showed no remorse, stating, “I do not regret it. I only regret the boots I tore” while fleeing the scene. He also remarked that he did not target a specific person, but rather any delivery driver who appeared at his door. In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered Aleksić to pay 50,000 euros in damages to the victim's family and cover all legal and forensic costs.
