Kırıkkale wholesaler market knife fight leaves five injured

A dispute over debts escalated into a knife fight at a wholesaler market in Kırıkkale, Turkey, resulting in five injuries. The incident occurred on 77. Sokak in the Yenimahalle district.

The conflict began as an argument between two individuals, identified as Y. B. (29) and Y. B. (37). During the altercation, the 29-year-old Y. B. allegedly stabbed the 37-year-old Y. B. Three other individuals—T. Ö. (40), E. B. (53), and Ö. F. B. (29)—sustained minor injuries while attempting to intervene and stop the fight. The 29-year-old suspect also sustained a nose injury during the struggle.

Emergency services transported the injured to local hospitals, including Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and the Medical Faculty Hospital. Following the incident, police detained four individuals: E. B., Y. B. (37), Ö. F. B., and T. Ö. All parties involved have reportedly filed complaints against one another, and an investigation is ongoing.
