Kırklareli blood donation campaign launched by Turkish Red Crescent

The Turkish Red Crescent has launched a blood donation campaign in Kırklareli titled ‘The Power of the Neighborhood Grows with Blood Donation’. The initiative aims to increase awareness and strengthen blood stocks through collaboration with local neighborhood mukhtars.

The campaign operates under the principle of ‘1 Blood 3 Lives, 1 Blood 3 Saplings’, which seeks to provide hope to three patients per unit of blood while also contributing to environmental efforts. Local officials, including Babaeski District Governor Tamer Orhan and Lüleburgaz District Governor Ayhan Işık, attended the events to support the project.

Participants engaged in regular donations to support social solidarity and ensure sustainable improvements in regional blood supplies. Officials emphasized the importance of continuous donation to save lives and foster community unity.
