Kroger and Instacart launch combined grocery and prescription delivery
Kroger and Instacart have launched a new service that allows customers to receive groceries and eligible prescriptions in a single delivery order. The service is available through Kroger websites and apps, connecting shoppers to more than 2,200 Kroger pharmacy locations across nearly all company banners nationwide, including Ralphs, Harris Teeter, and Fred Meyer.
To use the service, customers must be signed into their My Prescriptions account and enrolled in Online Pay. Kroger pharmacy teams fill and verify eligible prescriptions, which are then placed in tamper-resistant packaging and delivered by Instacart shoppers.
Eligibility for prescription delivery varies based on medication type, delivery address, and local regulations. Age restrictions and other exclusions may also apply. Boost by Kroger Plus members may receive additional benefits, such as free delivery on eligible orders.
