The mountain village of Kryopigi in the Preveza region of Greece organized its second Cultural Three-Day Festival from 7 to 9 August 2026. The program opened on Friday evening with an official ceremony in the town square, followed by a film screening of Vasilis Mazomenos' "Infinite Earth" and a discussion with the director.

Saturday’s events included a symposium on water as a source of life and cultural nourishment, featuring Professor Vasilis Avdikos of Pantheon University, PhD environmental scientist Nikos Giannoulis, and architect Konstantinos Tsoutsis. The afternoon featured a musical performance by local folk musicians, including Basileios Papageorgiou (clarinet) and Thanos Voulas (lute), with guest singers Giorgos Kapsalis and Elli Nikolaou.

On Sunday, scholars debated the legacy of wartime villages and German reparations, with contributions from political science professor Dimitris Christopoulos and historian Vasiliki Lazou. The day concluded with a tribute to traditional folk music performed by bouzouki player Fanis Katiforis and guitarist Dimitris Pnevmatikos. Parallel activities included a guided walk to the nearby archaeological site of Kassopi and a community walk on Monday, organized by the Kryopigi and Athens Kryopigi societies with support from the municipality of Preveza.
