Kryvyi Rih bombings kill eight, six from same family

Russian air strikes across Ukraine on the night of July 29‑30, 2026 killed eight people, including six members of a single family. Two girls, aged 5 and 12, and four adults were killed when an Iskander‑M missile struck a house near the city of Kryvyi Rih. The attack came hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a massive Russian offensive.

Separate strikes also caused one death in Kyiv, another in Poltava, and injuries in Lviv and surrounding areas, bringing the total number of injured to at least eight. Local authorities in the next day expressed shock and offered condolences to the victims' families.
