K. T. Rama Rao faces passport impound request in Formula E case

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao is facing legal and political challenges in Telangana. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has approached the court to impound the passports of KTR and three others, including an IAS officer and a former HMDA chief engineer, in connection with an alleged ₹55 crore corruption case involving a Formula E car race deal. KTR has accused the Congress government of political targeting but stated he will cooperate with the court.

In other political developments, voter enrolment has commenced for two Graduate MLC constituencies in Telangana, including the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad region. KTR has urged eligible graduates to register before the November 6 deadline.

KTR has also issued several demands to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He called for the government to fulfill election promises made to Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) workers regarding profit sharing and housing. Additionally, he challenged the Chief Minister to provide evidence for allegations of an 8,000-acre land grab in Sircilla, demanding a white paper or an apology if the claims cannot be proven.
