K.T. Rama Rao's Parigi rally attendance questioned by opposition MLA
Congress MLA T Ram Mohan Reddy criticised Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K.T. Rama Rao’s recent meeting in Parigi, alleging that the event drew a sparse crowd and that many attendees left before it ended. He said the low turnout signalled a disconnect between the TRS leadership and voters, stating, “The optics of a political gathering are crucial… when a leader of Mr. Rama Rao’s stature addresses a meeting, one expects to see a vibrant display of public enthusiasm and support.”
Reddy also accused the previous BRS government of failing to deliver promised 100‑bed hospitals, double‑bedroom houses for the poor, and the Lakshmidevulapalle project, while highlighting Congress’s initiatives such as large‑scale Indiramma housing and progress on a 1,000‑crore four‑lane road project.
The criticism comes amid rising political contestation in Telangana ahead of upcoming elections.
