KT Wiz clinches KBO League regular season championship

KT Wiz has secured the 2026 KBO League regular season championship, marking their first title in five years since 2021. The victory was finalized following a dominant 9-0 win against the Lotte Giants at Suwon KT Wiz Park.

KT's offense was fueled by three home runs, including a three-run shot and a solo home run by Jang Jun-won, and a solo homer by Ahn Hyun-min. Starting pitcher Logan Allen delivered a standout performance, pitching eight scoreless innings and recording 14 strikeouts.

With this win, KT finishes the season with a record of 86 wins, 49 losses, and 5 draws, maintaining a 4.5-game lead over second-place Samsung Lions. The championship guarantees KT a direct spot in the Korean Series as they pursue their second career title.
