KT Wiz defeats Doosan Bears 12-6 to tie club record

KT Wiz secured a dominant 12-6 victory over the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, strengthening their position at the top of the KBO League. The win marks KT's 81st victory of the season, tying the club's record for most wins in a single season set in 2020. The victory also extended their lead over second-place Samsung Lions to three games.

KT's offense was highly productive, recording 20 hits. Choi Won-jun led the charge with five hits and two RBIs. Jang Seong-woo contributed a two-run home run in the third inning, while Han Seung-taek also hit a two-run homer later in the game. On the mound, KT starter Bae Je-seong delivered a strong performance, pitching six scoreless innings with four strikeouts.

Doosan's starter, Choi Seung-yong, struggled early, allowing five runs in the second inning before being removed from the game. Despite a late rally from Doosan that included two runs in the eighth and two in the ninth, they were unable to overcome the significant deficit.
