KTM introduces the 690 Rally enduro motorcycle
KTM has introduced the 690 Rally, a new enduro motorcycle designed for both off-road travel and rally competition. Positioned as a successor to the early 2000s LC4 640 Adventure, this factory-developed model is built on the 690 platform to provide a complete rally-ready package without the need for aftermarket kits.
The motorcycle features a 693cc single-cylinder engine producing 79 hp and 73 Nm of torque. It is designed for long-distance riding with a total fuel capacity of 20 liters, distributed across two 3.5-liter front tanks and a 13-liter rear tank. The fuel system allows riders to switch between tanks via handlebar controls.
Key technical specifications include a 48mm WP XPLOR USD front fork with adjustable compression and rebound, and a fully adjustable WP XPLOR rear shock. The chassis includes revised stiffness for improved control and integrated mounting points for rally equipment and a tool box. The bike has a dry weight of approximately 161.5 kilograms and is legal for use on public roads.
