KTM readies overhauled 790 Adventure bike for 2027 launch

Spy photographs taken by Bernhard M. Hohne show a near‑production prototype of KTM’s middle‑weight 790 Adventure motorcycle. The bike features fully formed bodywork, a re‑styled front fairing and ergonomic adjustments aimed at improving touring comfort and off‑road handling. KTM plans to unveil the updated model, likely at the EICMA show in Milan, as part of its dual‑tier strategy that keeps the 790 series as a more affordable option alongside the higher‑spec 890 range.

KTM also promotes its RIDE KTM program, now in its 35th year, which offers worldwide adventure tours, rider training, track‑day experiences and bike rentals from its Mattighofen base. The initiative targets both newcomers and seasoned riders, providing access to a variety of KTM models and guided rides across continents.
