KTR accuses Telangana CM Revanth Reddy of fraud and political drama over Hyderabad Metro

BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a broad attack on Telangana's Congress‑led government, alleging it deceived farmers, students, youth and women. He said the administration failed on promised crop procurement, the Rythu Bharosa scheme and fee‑reimbursement for students, and warned, “send the anti‑people Congress government packing.” He contrasted the current leadership with former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s record of depositing roughly ₹73,000 crore for farmers.

KTR also charged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Union Coal & Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy with staging a “joint political drama” over the Hyderabad Metro project. He claimed the CM was trying to transfer about 250 acres of metro‑linked land and assets worth roughly ₹30,000 crore to his relatives, while shifting L&T Metro Rail’s debt of around ₹14,000 crore onto the state. KTR accused them of canceling the Airport Metro and obstructing expansion proposals, saying the project would only revive if the BRS returned to power.
