KTR urges youth to embrace AI and calls for investor-friendly ecosystem in Hyderabad

BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) has called on young people to view Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an opportunity for innovation and employment rather than a threat to job security. Speaking at the inauguration of the India headquarters for Random Trees, a data and AI innovation company, in Hyderabad, KTR emphasized the necessity of continuous learning and skill development to adapt to emerging technologies.

KTR argued that governments should focus on fostering business-friendly environments—providing reliable power, water, infrastructure, and efficient transport—to attract investments and Global Capability Centres (GCCs), rather than attempting to provide all jobs directly. He noted that while technological revolutions often cause initial apprehension, such as the introduction of computers in banking, they ultimately create new avenues for growth.

He expressed confidence that Hyderabad can become a global hub for AI research and data science, citing previous initiatives by the BRS government to position Telangana as a leading IT destination.
