Hyderabad technology and AI development initiatives
Overview
Hyderabad is expanding its role as a technology hub through new corporate investments and specialized training programs. The inauguration of the Indian headquarters for Random Trees, a data and AI innovation company, is expected to create 400 jobs. During the event, K T Rama Rao (KTR) encouraged the youth to view artificial intelligence as an opportunity for innovation and urged the government to maintain an investor-friendly ecosystem by providing reliable infrastructure and minimizing regulatory interference.
Complementing these corporate developments, the Telangana state government, in partnership with Microsoft, the 1M1B Foundation, and the MeitY Startup Hub, launched the Green Skills and Applied AI Centre of Excellence. This center aims to train graduates in applied AI, sustainability, and green pharmaceuticals. The initiative has already resulted in 100 immediate job offers and several memoranda of understanding with industry partners to support employment in sectors such as electric vehicles and solar energy.
