Kuala Lumpur International Airport staff housing murder investigation

A 35-year-old female civil servant was found dead in an apartment within the staff housing area of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Thursday, October 15. The victim was also an employee at the airport.

The victim's husband, a man in his 30s, surrendered to the Sepang District Police Headquarters (IPD) at approximately 20:00 on the same day. Following his surrender, the case was transferred to the Nilai District Police Headquarters (IPD) for investigation.

Nilai District Police Chief Johari Yahya confirmed the incident. Police officers returned the suspect to the crime scene at the KLIA staff housing area late that night to assist with the ongoing investigation. The couple has two young daughters in kindergarten. The motive behind the incident remains unclear as authorities continue their inquiries.
